![]() So, for the OP to have access to all the bells and whistles that were added and not use them is a waste. ![]() That's a matter of opinion well excluding the survivors that is, I can't even play the beta so no fishing, no vehicle mods, no pets, and no accurate bow to use. In the current build he's not missing much, the survivors are currently useless including Scot, the only good thing I've gotten from the bandit camp is the hunting rifle, the only thing I don't have at this moment is the garage, don't need it, surviving very comfortably, ![]() 50 cal alone makes taking on the bandit camps much easier, then there's the ability to fish You complained that the recurve bow is hard to use, the compound bow doesn't have that problem and is the most accurate of the bows, while the vehicle mods adds to game play, The. You can command it to do thing like attack and so on 50 cal turret! Then there's the compound bow you can get from a church in a bandit camp, and you can now have a pet dog you just need to rescue it. Originally posted by TeperiBlaze: You're missing out on so much by not taking on the bandits, for example you need one of the survivors so you can build the new tuning garage and mod your car, by building a bumper for it and mounting a. I saved all survivors in previous plays and got all the stuff, it means absolutely nothing. I have gotten them before, but I see no real point of getting them. There are loots that are interesting, but does that add to the game play? Why would I need those things, when I don't really need them? Of course adventure is a big part in games like this, but with a story, it would be more compelling to grab those items to make the game move forwards. I understand that, but I don't understand WHY I have to do this. You're missing out on so much by not taking on the bandits, for example you need one of the survivors so you can build the new tuning garage and mod your car, by building a bumper for it and mounting a. Originally posted by TeperiBlaze:I apologize, a pretty long post, but bear with me. I still have hope and the game is not crap by any means, but there is no focus on where the game is going, I hope he sorts it out. And here we are with map 3 and all the bugs are still there plus a few more. Then map 2 was quite ok, but the bugs followed in it's trail. The very first map was really good, so I don't know why he changed that to map 2. I really hope he stays on this map now and expand it, it is a bit small. Not a big deal.īig advice, DO NOT USE re spawn button, unless you pick up ALL the loot! I have seen posts about bad fps, I have no trouble at all, except the slightest lagging sometime when I turn around and something is chasing me. Like a story with several quests to show what's going on.īugs yes, nothing game breaking for me, just silly floating stuff, double lockers and loading, where you get loaded in before the world. I have restarted the game 5-6 times and I really like it, but there isn't a reason to continue further without something to achieve, I'm already set up and I'm missing a story where you HAVE to go forward. So now it's just a building game for me, but really why should I bother? Of course i could get more backpack upgrades, but why worry when you can make lockers so easily. I'm crap with a gun and even worse with that silly bow, no aiming dot. I don't need the NPC's at this moment, I don't need the mine, I don't need to attack bandits. Why should I go and hunt for bandits? Why should I rescue anyone, they are useless? Why should I do anything else, but what I have done? Ok, need another drying rack and I have more food than I need for 2 weeks. So I kill another bear, just hop on top of a car and kill it with a spear. Place the forge build half ways and have water boiling, meat cooked on the grill and I have food for days.ĭay 3, make a little farming area of infected and with loot I've already got, I have 20 salt. ![]() (As we find a bear hide in one of the cabins early.) Also find that so hard to use recurve bow and move on. Second day I finish the water purifier, kill a bear and take only the meat. Even start on the water purifier and make a drying rack, campfire, cooking rack and a pot stand. ![]() I can get a car the first day, I can grab all "free" lockers (no enemies by ranger towers) and get a workbench up and running. I apologize, a pretty long post, but bear with me. ![]()
